Make buying easier. Make running the store clearer.

An online store is more than a product grid. Customers need to understand products, delivery and payment before they buy. You need a manageable way to maintain the catalogue and handle orders. We plan those requirements before choosing Shopify or a custom build.

Your written proposal defines the final deliverables, review rounds, schedule and exclusions.

    What your project can include.

Use this as a starting point for your brief. The final scope is tailored to your project.

    Catalogue structure
Product categories, product-page layouts and the agreed approach to variants, stock and supplied product data.
    Shopping journey
Responsive browsing, basket and checkout journeys suited to the selected platform.
    Payment setup
Integration with the agreed payment provider, subject to your merchant account approval and provider requirements.
    Delivery and store information
Configuration or presentation of the shipping, returns and policy information you supply.
    Order management
A clear plan for how you will view and manage orders. Custom dashboards and external systems are scoped separately.
    Launch checks
Test orders and checks of agreed payment, shipping and customer journeys before the store goes live.

    Choose the approach that fits.

The best option depends on what you need to manage, the features you require and the ongoing costs you are comfortable with.

    Discuss your requirements
    1. Brief & scope

Discuss your audience, requirements, budget and target date. Agree deliverables, exclusions, costs and payment terms in writing.

    2. Structure & design

Review the page or screen structure and visual direction. Gather the content, product data and access needed for the agreed scope.

    3. Build & connect

Develop the approved layouts and agreed functionality. Integrations and backend work follow the written feature list.

    4. Review & test

Check the main user journeys, mobile layouts and relevant error states. Collect feedback against the agreed scope before approval.

    5. Launch & handover

Agree the deployment steps, relevant account access and handover. Optional ongoing care is documented separately.

    Before you get started.

A few practical answers to help you plan the next step.

    Are product uploads included?

The proposal specifies the number of products and whether you will supply a spreadsheet, text and images. Bulk import, image preparation and ongoing catalogue work should be priced explicitly.

Are Shopify fees part of the website price?

No, unless explicitly listed. Shopify subscriptions, paid apps, themes and payment charges are third-party costs. We distinguish these from TechRovo project and maintenance charges.
